About Us
Our Founder and President, Vinay Narang, formed Power Charged Consulting® to help individuals, groups, and organizations achieve higher levels of success. As individuals gain skills through formal education and various jobs, they typically are exposed to very specific functional skills that are relevant to performing a certain type of job. Often missing, however, are the broader effectiveness skills that lead to peak performance. Furthermore, leadership and organizational structure typically arises based on expediency. Often missing, however, are strategic processes that enable performance. Power Charged Consulting fills in these gaps.

Vinay Narang is the Founder and President of Power Charged Consulting. Having developed our proprietary Power Charged™ system of effectiveness, he is an expert in individual, group, and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to forming Power Charged Consulting, Mr. Narang worked with over 100 companies as a management consultant, financial advisor, strategic partner, or business executive. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development for BusinessElite, a boutique executive search firm that also offered technology solutions for the executive search industry.

Mr. Narang also worked as a Senior Manager for Ernst & Young in its Center for Strategic Transactions. In this capacity, he facilitated over 60 brainstorming meetings between each client company’s CEO, its executive management team, and EY Partners. These six-to-eight hour meetings focused on the client company’s corporate strategy, operations, and transactional alternatives. In addition to facilitating these meetings, he offered valuable insights on each client’s critical issues to the CEO and other senior executives.
Before EY, Mr. Narang served as Manager of Business Development for Universal Studios, where he worked on business and strategic planning for greenfield developments as well as acquisitions of international theme parks and resorts. He also worked as a business development executive for Hanna Barbera, and as an investment banker for Salomon Brothers and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.
While developing Power Charged Consulting, Mr. Narang honed his training and coaching skills as a GMAT instructor and tutor for two nationwide test preparation companies. Based on this experience, Mr. Narang founded and continues to serve as the Chief Genius of GMAT Genius.

Mr. Narang has an MBA from Stanford University, where his elective coursework focused on corporate strategy and organizational behavior. He received his BA in economics and mathematics from Claremont McKenna College, from which he graduated with Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian honors.
